What to Bowl Out on Sunday

It’s that time again, everyone needs to bowl. What is your bowl selection this week? It’s that time again, everyone needs to bowl.

Last week was Prettyman. This week will be bad.

Boise State should be 10-2 coming into the Hawaii game. You know except for their opener at home against BYU, the Broncos will be 10-2 coming off a bye week. Boise State started the season 5-0 before losing to Fresno State handily. They then won four of their final five games to get to 10-2.

I like the Bronco’s chances in the West. Boise State is pretty good at home at 1500 pacific room. Easy to prepare for a team that is often overmatched when it comes to playing the road. With the anatomy of the Hawaii travel, you can bet some or all of the Broncos starters will be forced to forgo some games in November and December with injuries. official Boise State football predictions will fall on the scoring folds of favorites and this will be the time to get on Boise State before the number falls off.

Boise State is also just 30 minutes from my home in paradise, Casa Grande, 안전한 바카라사이트, complete with cowboy hats and Giugiaro’s down there too if that gives you a little clue as to how much time the Broncos will have to prepare.

Kansas State may be underrated as in some bogus second-round NCAA tournament polls. To be honest, though, they played Syracuse pretty tough, with good guard play, and are still a couple of deep with some shooting and depth in the front court. Not to mention, Kansas St is near the bottom of the Big 12 in three-point shooting, so while they may be good at shooting in the tourney, it might not translate into points in the tournament.

Although I believe Ohio St. has been the tournament’s best team all year, I think they’ll have a hard time covering the point spread against Northern Iowa in their final home game. The Bobcats played the highest-scoring team in the conference, averaging at least 35 points per game, and guard Andre Woodson leads the MAC and 24th nationally in scoring, averaging 19.1 points per game.

Woodson said before the season started that making the title game was the ultimate goal, then added that getting there was the main objective. That’s exactly why the Bobcats needed to pay attention to every detail of the season thus far. Like admitting that their young legs could not hold up until January, the Bobcats now know that to repeat that goal, they have to improve in several areas.

“One of the things we talked about was rebounding the basketball,” Woodson said. “We know we have to get the blocks and the boards in and that’s the priority. We also have to keep doing what we’re doing, which is defending the three and not letting guys shoot from behind. That’s a thing we have to do because we won’t have success if that’s not happening. We won’t be able to stay in the games we’re playing if we’re not.”

The other main priority is passing the ball because depth has been a problem all season. The Bobcats are 11th in the conference in passing, but it was a huge weakness last season as they finished dead last in scoring, averaging a paltry 59 ppg. With a healthy team, that should improve, but it will matter little if the Bobcats fail to protect the basketball or allow easy baskets.

Northern Iowa as a whole is very good, very athletic and as a very difficult defensive team will be hard to match. The Bobcats have been the most efficient defensive team in the Mo Valley while at the same time laying a huge number of points. Despite the talent, efficiency, and overall dominance on the defensive end, I’m not sure the Bobcats can buy enough time with their championship-caliber talent on the offensive end to mount a championship run.

Skinner and Northern Iowa as a whole are very good on offense, but the defense is a letdown after a very strong season. A letdown is all this team needs to become championship material. A lot of this success depends on the health of the players, especially the guards. Last Friday into Saturday, the Bobcats lost star, Taquan Dean, for at least a few weeks because of a knee injury and also lost Zach Morrison to an ankle injury. That means the offense will pretty much be carried by the guards, and the defense can’t be as effective without those two key players.
